The information about novel coronavirus continues to develop. It’s important to take sensible steps to look after yourself and your family.

• Keep an eye out for updates from reliable sources such as the NSW Government website.
• If you develop a fever, cough, sore throat or shortness of breath or are in contact with someone else who has Coronavirus, seek medical advice you can call the Coronavirus help information line on 1800 020 080 or call us.
• In an emergency present to the Emergency Department but please always call before you present and wear a mask if you have symptoms
• Protect yourself and others: clean your hands regularly, cough or sneeze into your elbow or a tissue. Face masks are recommended for people within 1.5 metres of each other.
• Importantly – stay at home if you’re feeling unwell.
• COVID-19 vaccinations are now available at our practice and can be booked online.

We are putting in extra measures to ensure your safety. We have increased our surface cleaning and are providing access to hand sanitiser and masks at the front desk and we are assessing higher risk patients outside the surgery or by telehealth consultations.

We encourage you to call us for advice if you have any of the symptoms listed above to consider taking advantage of the new telehealth consultation medicare items. Please call the surgery and see if you meet the government’s criteria for access to the medicare rebate and if they will be suitable for you. If you don’t meet the criterion we can still provide advice but there will be a non-medicare rebatable fee for this service.
